Project meeting report

      Under the frame of the Leonardo Da Vinci Learning Partnership Project, the University of Almería held the 3rd Consortium meeting from the 11th to the 12th of September of 2014 in order to deal with the strategies and the second evaluation of the project implantation as well as to have a group evaluation and some workshops.
This meeting counted with the collaboration of:
1. POLAND: Uniwersytet Trzeciego Wieku w Uniwersytecie Wrocławskim (Coordinators of the project).
2. AUSTRIA: Hackl & Kienel-Mayer OG.
3. FRANCE:  Association M3_MCube.
4. SPAIN:      Universidad de Almería.
5. TURKEY:
                     - Demokrasiyi Seven Genç Eğitimciler Derneği.
                     - Nazilli Halk Eğitimi Merkezi Ve Aksam Sanat Okulu.

FIRST DAY ACTIVITIES;


    The members of the group responsible for the organization of this meeting (David Padilla, Pilar Díaz, Remedios López, José Manuel Aguilar, Trinidad Ruiz and Patricia Rocamora) performed the following activities and presentations for the 11th of September (in regard with the last Consortium meetings which were celebrated in Poland and France respectively):
 Presentation of all actions performed by each partner along that year. All participants told how they had organized their activities according to the base of the project using different and supportive techniques for language teaching and analyzing their effectiveness in places with different cultures.


 Evaluation of the first half of the project: group focus, being Jacek Gulanowski and Aleksander Kobylarek the moderators.
 Discussion about the project: pending tasks dates for the upcoming meetings and questions, being Jacek Gulanowski and Aleksander Kobylarek the moderators.
3rd newsletter 11th and 12th of September

 Work/Project workshops: innovative activities for language teaching were presented in order to show how they would be prepared for students.
For the 12th of September the team of Almería presented different cultural activities for all participants on a tourist visit guide organized to know the historical background of the city.
As for what the group had accomplished until then, these are the actions that participants were given to perform:
- Logo and project image (Spain).
- Website (Poland).
- Social Media (Turkey – HEM).
- Flyers in national languages (France and Austria).
- Common tool for investigation: electronic and printed survey (Poland).
- Staff Portfolios in Linkedin (All participants).
- Project promotional advertisement for local and national dissemination (Turkey – DSGED).
- To post information (reports, newsletters and pictures) about the meeting in Paris on-line and on social media (France and Poland).
- Workshops (All participants).
- To put all staff’s Portfolios on-line (Turkey – DSGED).
- To create and to send the common tool for investigation (Poland)
- To elaborate an interim report for National Agencies (All participants).
Our partners from Poland and France held the two first Consortium meetings respectively and wrote the pertinent newsletters and reports. The Polish team is also in charge of the partners meeting evaluation reports.

WHAT ARE THE PARTICIPANTS SUPPOSED TO DO NEXT?

All participants agreed on these new tasks to make progress on the project, which would be evaluated on the next meeting in Turkey:

UPCOMING MEETINGS

All members of the group agreed on the following dates to meet again in order to evaluate the progress of the project and deal with the new objectives and tasks that were assigned:

I. TURKEY: from the 13th to the 15th of January of 2015.

II. AUSTRIA: from the 5th to the 6th of May of 2015.

III. POLAND: from the 2nd to the 3rd of June of 2015.
 This meeting would be the final one. It ıs not obligatory.Partners are free to decide on this last meeting if they have enough mobilities.
  
SECOND DAY ACTIVITIES;
In order to lessen  the cultural and traditional differences and make the borders closer ,Almeria team organised a Cultural Day.The  participants were taken to the main remarkable points of the city to have  some skindeep information about the ways of life in Spain.  Historical sightseeing helped the participants  learn more about the foundaion of the city and the visit to the City Museum  provided all to learn more about the life styles of  the elderly thousands years ago.
